The High Road Schools give students the opportunity to take their learning out of the classroom and into the community. We work with students to practice the skills they have developed in our School-To-Work program. A High Road School job coach accompanies students to volunteer or paid job sites in the community including restaurants, hospitals, preschools, retail stores, or other small businesses. We utilize community business to give students real life work experience and interactions. This gives the students opportunities to explore career avenues and gain valuable work experience to place on their resumes.
