Maryland High School Assessments

Recently, the High Road High School of Prince George’s County hosted parents to discuss one of the hottest educational issues in the state of Maryland, the High School Assessments (HSA). Beginning with the current graduating class (2009), all high school students are required to take and pass the statewide assessments in order to graduate high school.

Naturally, there is a great deal of questions and anxiety as we near graduation. Ms. Carmen McGinnis and the staff of the High Road High School of Prince George’s County aimed to diminish the anxiety of parents and students alike by providing all the information they would need regarding these assessments.
