We’ll cover arranging the environment for success, reinforcing desired behaviors, and actively engaging learners during various types of academic and social instruction. We’ll also share some tools and strategies for maximizing engagement and improving social behavior. In addition, this session will teach the foundations of behavior support and how to apply those to a virtual environment.

Program Spotlight

In-District Classrooms:
Our Program. Your School.

In our 80+ In-District Classrooms (IDCs), our certified teachers partner with district special education and general education staff to individualize academic and behavioral interventions for students. Our IDCs provide small, highly-structured therapeutic learning environments designed to meet the needs of students with intensive academic, behavioral, and language needs. By creating these opportunities for students, we are able to provide a continuum of services in their local community.

Capacity Building
Professional Learning

In partnership with Catapult Learning, our Special Education Capacity Building programs are tailored to the needs of your school community and target specific areas to create the greatest impact based on our mutual assessment. As most students with special needs spend the majority of their time in general education classrooms, it is vitally important these educators are also prepared to create classroom climates and instruction that meet the needs of all their students, including those with special needs.
